Rafting In Nepal   

RIVER RAFTING is the most popular water sport in Nepal . The wildest rivers and unexplored, virgin landscape along the river banks, makes this sport unforgettable. The river grade varies from 2 to + 5 depending on the rapid. During the summer (July, August and September) Nepal sees a lot of rainfall making it impossible to undertake rafting except on the Trishuli River. But in the other seasons of the year, there are choices of rivers for starters to the professional rafter. For detailed information please click the topic of your choice from following.
 

Rafting in Trishuli

The Trishuli is the most popular river for rafting in Nepal due to easy access and the Trishuli River Raftingsmaller yet thrilling rapids. Trips on this river can be planned from 1 to 3 days yet the the most popular is the 1 overnight trip.
Rafting on the Trishuli river can be combined with any other tours, treks & safari program.  There are varieties of options available for river trips from joining a group in Kathmandu to forming your own group in your own country or in Nepal . Please note that the transportation will always be in tourist coaches while going down to the put in point and will always be in the available mode of transportation while coming back to Kathmandu . However private transfers can be arranged as per request, prices for which will be optional. Please refer to the  travel notes section for rates of transportation.

SUNKOSHI: 8 Days ( Eastern Nepal )

Sunkoshi RaftingThe Sunkoshi is the second most famous river for rafting in Nepal due to its duration and wild rapids. Minimum of 8 days is required for rafting in this river and from the starting of the rafting you will meet the road only in the last day of your trip. During this period you will pass through several beautiful villages, farms and jungles of the remote part of Nepal crossing 5 + class of rapids.

Rafting in Karnali ( Western Nepal )

Karnali is also known as the longest and biggest river of Nepal , emerges at Mt. karnali raftingKailash , an holy mountain, and flows through the scenic flora and fauna. It features an easy one-day trekking from the nearest road access to the put in point. Along the journey, to encounter with the challenge of 3-5 class rapids is one pleasure and equally to experience the remote life through the dense of forest is another vitality of this trip. Just just enough easier water to regroup and prepare for the next big challenge separates rapids like “Captivity”, Flip and Stripe, Gods House. Towards the end of the trip the river gradient begins to ease as the Karnali leaves the mountains and flows out in to the Genetic plains of the Terai. The dense of forest thickens as the river broadens, and the pristine beaches become bigger and more beautiful.

BHOTE-KOSHI
Departure from Kathmandu 07:30 A.M. The first day drive to the put in point by our private coach, our guides will inflate the raft and Bhote Koshi Rafting some will prepare lunch. After lunch you are requested to listen carefully to the safety talk because you will be paddling on the Bhote-kosi for 2-3 hrs. Our vehicle will follow your raft for your safety and after 8-10 kms of paddling the vehicle would take you back to the Camp. Second day is the most exciting day. After your breakfast you will be paddling down all the way (the most action packed) to take out point and you will have your lunch at the take out point. From take out point our vehicles will drive you back to Kathmandu that takes 3 hrs.

KALIGANDAKI - 3 Days ( WESTERN NEPAL )

Kaligandaki RaftingOne of the ancient trade routes to Tibet , the Kali Gandaki rises in upper Mustang. With lush green vegetation and an abundance of wildlife this trip is a scenic, thrilling roller -coaster ride from start to finish and comes highly recommended for those seeking true excitement. There are only few other river-runners as the rivers go down through a jungle corridor, home to more than 250 species of wild birds. Fresh water dolphins and mugger and gharial crocodiles can be seen.
