16 Days Special Program
Overview
This 16 days program will get you through the Everest region of the Himalayas and finally land you in Mount Everest Base Camp itself. Before you ascend to these hights you will explore Kathmandu and witness the cultural diversity of this major city. You will also spend the night in Nagarkot for a sunrise view of the area you will conquer soon after. Please go to the Itinerary section to see the full program. Detail Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival and transfer to the hotel, our staff will pick you up from airport and will help you with your transfer.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (monkey temple, Kathmandu durbar squire, Patan durbar squire, Bhaktapur durbar squire, Pashupatinath, Buddhanath) and drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is one of the best places to see the sunrise views of Himalayan range including with Mt. Everest.
Day 03 : Drive back to Kathmandu and if needed there is time for shopping for your trek. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
Day 04 : Drive to the airport and fly to LuklaDay (2860m)- 45 minutes flight and then commence trek to Phakding (2600m) – 4 hours
Day 05 : Phakding – Namche Bazar (3446m) – 5 hours.
Day 06 : Namche Bazar, one-day rest for acclimatization.
Day 07 : Namche Bazar – Tengboche (3867m) – 5½ hours.
Day 08 : Tengboche – Dingboche (4343m) – 6 hours.
Day 09 : Dingboche – Lobuche (4930m) – 5½ hours.
Day 10 : Lobuche – Gorakhshep (5200m) – 4 hours.
Day 11 : Gorakhshep – Kalapattar (5545m) – Lobuche – 6 hours.
Day 12 : Lobuche – Pangboche (3985m) – 6 hours.
Day 13 : Pangboche – Namche Bazar – 4 hours.
Day 14 : Namche Bazar-Lukla (2860m) – 6 hours, reconfirm the flight tickets.
Day 15 : Lukla – Kathmandu, 45 minutes flight. The day is yours to spend, your guide will assist you if requested. Complementary dinner in the evening.
Day 16 : Transfer to airport and final departure.
